I've never been a fan of Tri tip... but I cooked a costco (presesoned) one in the sous vide last night and wow.

All I'm saying is that notice the comments, and read online: most agree that tri tip tastes best with heavy seasoning.

I used to season mine a lot but I don't, now. Same as i'd season any steak

Don't know how a red-eat meater can not be a fan of tri-tip. It is by far the easiest thing to cook

Um.. up until 1950 the Tri-Tip was considered junk meat (ground up or used as stew meat)
