Good luck with that. He said he verified
the lawsuit is legitimate. I doubt State Farm will voluntarily dismiss without attorney involvement. Also, he may say something against his interest that could be used against him later.

I'm guessing they'll hope you'll respond to their email and they'll claim you can settle out of court for a fee.
