Someone remind me why the Utes are subsidized?
Could someone remind me why taxpayers are helping foot the bill for the UU athletic department? BYU's athletic department is self-sufficient, why is the Utes atheltics department getting ~$10 million in subsidies according to USA Today? Why should any BCS team get even a cent of taxpayer subsidy for their athletic department?
