Dr Pepper ribs

Cut the rack of ribs into sections. For baby backs I usually do 3 ribs per section, for the larger st louis ribs I usually cut them into 2.

Boil the ribs in Dr Pepper for 1 to 1 - 1/2 hours.

Dump out roughly half of the Dr Pepper and add barbeque sauce to replace the Dr Pepper. It will take 2 or 3 bottles of barbeque sauce.

Continue boiling the ribs, but bring them to a much lower boil. Continue to simmer the ribs in this sauce for a couple of additional hours.

Remove the ribs from the sauce and throw them on the grill for just a minute. Serve!

Simple to make and quite delicious. It also won't use up your oven space. You will need a pretty large pot to boil them in though.
