How many miles do you plan on putting on it? Look at it this way...
Buy it for $30Gs but they're selling at dealerships for $40 so take the extra $10 and put it aside for maintenance and misc expenses. Then when the transmission goes out at 150,000 miles, you'll have the money to replace it.
