I lean somewhere between "probably" and "yes." It depends on who would be
available in the portal. I think it's very unlikely to find someone in the portal who could have as much of an impact as Dallin next year. Not a lot of great players would be open to a backup point guard spot.

I don't spend time keeping track of all the available players, but I suppose it's possible there is a good player with high upside that's coming off an injury or redshirt season that could be intrigued by a backup PG spot on next year's team. BYU is one of the early contenders for a national championship, and playing with AJ also means you have a lot of eyeballs on you. So there will be interest from players obviously, but low chance that player would have the positive impact that Dallin would have.

The only reason this is a question is because Dallin had a pretty off year outside a few games. If he returns to playing well more consistently like he did the year prior, this isn't even a discussion.

But all that said, based on Dallin's farewell post he seemed pretty decided on turning the page and moving on to another opportunity.
