Ours was up to $70 a month to have someone pick it all up (trash, recycling,
compost - which is a separate provider from trash / recycling)
But we can take it to a local transfer waste disposal place and pay $3 for our trash bag and the rest is free to drop off so we switched to doing that. It's less than a five minute drive away, so it's not that bad.
