lady came in and asked me if I had eaten there before because it is relatively new. It’s pretty authentic and they have tripa and lengua. So I’m eating my mulitas and my daughter has tacos and I told the lady, yes, this is my 2nd time here. Then she asked “how does it compare to places like Cafe Rio?” I told her it was much more authentic but it’s really good as I stuffed my face with carne asada mulitas.
My daughter said, “I guess she doesn’t want authentic” and I turned around and the lady had left and gotten in her car with her husband and they were driving away. My daughter asked “how can you be 70 years old and only eaten at places like Cafe Rio?”
Boomers are not what I would call food explorers.
