Also - I'm not sure we know what the aliens knew.

Meaning - did all of the aliens retain their memory? Or did only the omega retain the memory and told the rest? Or did the aliens actually not retain a memory of what happened after the reset - but did have knowledge that a reset had happened. So they knew SOMEONE had the alpha's power, but didn't know anything beyond that?

I would guess that they could at least sense that Tom had the alpha's power, because they seemed to know it was him. But again - it's unclear if it was due to remembering or some other function allowing them to sense it.

Also - think about this one for a minute - is there only ONE alpha? So when Tom killed the alpha and took its powers, does that mean there were no other alphas? Or were there other alphas that periodically died and reset the days but because it wasn't Tom dying he didn't even notice when it happened?

Or - if there is only one alpha - does that mean any other alphas wouldn't have had the power and they needed to bleed out Tom in order for any existing alien alpha to regain the power?
