struggle (particularly the backup) — please take it easy on those future players — & on KY.

Egor being on the fence w this decision is what's forced Hall to leave. I really believe KY would commit to Hall as the backup if we knew whether or not Egor were returning.

But with Egor potentially (if not likely) out the door — KY has to be in the hunt for PGs that are gonna give us the special edge that he gave us. Hall is a solid Big12 PG on both offense & defense — & yes, he saved us more than a little this season when Demin struggled with traps & ball-security.

Even still, unlike Demin — Hall is NOT a difference-maker against the top teams & matchups in the Big12 & beyond. And KY therefore has to be in the hunt for such a guy at the PG spot — WITH OR WITHOUT the assurance of Demin in the mix next season.
