not really sure where you are getting those numbers from, but I’d guess on/off
The nuggets are terrible without Jokic which is where he gets all the credit.
The Thunder are better with SGA on the court than the Nuggets are with Jokic on the court. That’s way more important to me than giving the award to someone because his team sucks without him.
SGA leads the league in scoring. Leads the league(by a long shot) in plus/minus. Leads the league in win shares and WS/48. Leads the league in EPM.
Jokic is having an incredible season, no one would argue otherwise, but you’re not looking at this objectively if you can’t see why SGA is the mvp. It’s not just voter fatigue.
