But Jimmer scored nearly 30 points per game and was the best player in college basketball. Ainge was also the best player in college basketball.
AJ can be that, but even if he is he is not going to be so much better than those guys. I do think it is important to note as well that although AJ is a better pro prospect, Cooper was a better college prospect. His game is more refined than AJ's is.
Let's put this another way...I wouldn't be shocked if Boozer at Duke has a better year than AJ. AJ is the better player, but at the college level there are so few guys that can defend Boozer that he is going to score at will.
