I disagree with Kimdaddy.
Going 32 means that he would not get a guaranteed contract. It is highly unlikely that he moves up. Every projection that I’ve seen has him going lower than 32 if he is mentioned at all.
He absolutely should go through the process, but if it appears highly likely that he will at best go in the second round, he should come back. He’s already old. He likely will not fall further by staying in college one more year. He should take the guaranteed money from Byu this year and go next year. Obviously, if he got some sort of guarantee that he would go in the first round, the situation is different.
