greatbam 1% better everyday
I have no insider information but I wouldn't be too surprised if Demin decided to stay at BYU for another year.
Based on Demin being a full-time athlete from a young age it kind of seems like he's had to forgo some of the simple transitions of growing up. Seems like he's been really enjoying his experience of being at BYU and being able to enjoy some of the more normal life of being a 18 - 19 year old college student.

KY said in an interview last week that Demin said something to the effect that he'd like to play for him for another 10 years.

There's a lot of talk that if Demin gets drafted he gets a contract and goes to the D-league and gets further refined there but I guess I just don't understand how the D-league would be that much better than getting refined by a NBA caliber college coach playing in the B12.

I also get that there could be a big payday and risk of injury and all that but IDK seems like BYU probably offers better life / work balance. He could still make decent NIL money for another year and spend another year enjoying life as a 19 year old before heading off to the NBA to work, work, work for however many years.
