I'm not seeing anything so far this season that's going to reverse last season's
trend of struggling at the plate. A season that saw probably more than a dozen pitching gems wasted as the Braves couldn't plate a run. A season that saw the Braves let about a dozen minor league call up pitchers have the absolute game of their life and look like all-stars on the mound. Once in a season? Fine. Over and over again in the same season? That's a major issue.


5 whole games into the season and the Braves have already awarded not one but two pitchers what will likely be their best game of the season and completely wasted an amazing outing by Schwellenbach while making no-name Randy Vasquez look like Greg Maddux on the mound.


Something is rotten in the ATL. There is way too much talent on that team to be playing this poorly.
