Sure Kanon was supposed to be one and done and was the highest rated recruit
BYU had ever had.

But AJ is even on a different level than Kanon. He is one of I think 7 players in the last 15-20 years to have a perfect composite score.

And he was in the same class as Flagg who ended up going up a year to go to college a year earlier. You have to wonder if that was to separate himself from the HS class coming in.

This next year you have some really great college players with 2 of them going to Duke in the Boozer twins. One of them won the player of the year this year over AJ. It was the 2nd time he won the award the first when he was a freshman so you know he can play.

Even national writers are saying AJ would be the #1 pick this year. No one was saying or thinking that about Kanon.
