So I asked my wife. I asked what “change the laundry” means
Without giving her anything else, she said move it from washer to dryer.
If you want the washer to be loaded, you say change and load. You don’t automatically load it because you’re not sure if anything additional needs to be done such as spray and wash, fabric softener, scent beads, bleach, whatever.
