We judge these players based on body language.

Unfair.

If Kanon is a great interview (Retzlaff, Ritchie) we all rally behind him. He’s not. Maybe it’s his personality. Maybe he doesn’t have that skill or ability. Whatever.

But we can’t ask him to be something he is not. We ask him to improve and be better. But that is up to him to decide and execute.

I cut these guys some slack. I don’t know their whole story. Jaxson Robinson had a similar style that could appear lackadaisical to the untrained eye.

He will be a great player wherever he ends up. And I still hope it will be at BYU.
