Knell - 2.1 per game
Catchings - 1.4 per game
Demin - 1.3 per game
Baker - 1.1 per game
Hall - 1.1 per game
Mag - 0.9 per game
Bosko - 0.5 per game
Stewart - 0.4 per game

It's hard to hit more than 2 a game. There's only about 10 or so in the Big 12 that did it.

That's a LOT harder to do than shoot 35% or higher from 3 (30 did it from the Big 12, including 6 from BYU and Baker, Hall and Mag were nowhere close to getting to 2 a game and Catchings obviously couldn't play defense well enough to stay on the court long enough to get that many shots).
