Here’s the problem with Catchings.
Dude has unlimited potential. Has the body and athleticism to make it to the next level. Problem is, he just sits around outside looking to chuck up 3s. It almost seems like he’s afraid of contact. And maybe he is with just his frame being skinnier.

If he put in the work to put on some muscle and change his game a little to post up and drive to the basket he would be a top 10 pick easily. But instead he would sit outside the arc and launch 7 threes a game and go 1-7 or even 0-7 in games at the beginning of the season.

He barely passes the ball and you can tell by his body language and attitude he just doesn’t want to be in Provo or part of the program anymore.

Wish him the best but if he isn’t willing to adapt, change his game and be a team player, then he isn’t worth paying the money for and keeping around.
