KY however, was not willing to do that. We had plenty of people that could score and so there wasn't a need to simply put scoring players on the court at the risk of giving up baskets as well.

Personally, the way I saw his attitude change when he wasn't the starter and shows me he isn't the right person for the team. But I do think he has a ton of talent as well and could be a great add for another team.
