He was all in on PAC12 superiority and, while not openly hateful, always looked for opportunities to throw a dig in whenever he saw or heard something that might embarrass or belittle BYU.

This last year or two has been really hard on him. Ever since the dissolution of the PAC12, and the rise of BYU, he has been spiraling downward.

The recent success of BYU sports in general and BYU basketball in particular (he was a Utah fan during the Majerus years) has put him in a major funk.

I feel for him but low key kind of hope he feels even a little worse after this weekend.
