Utah has some adjusting to do in order to get up to speed in the Big 12.

In basketball, it looks like part of their strategy is to continue to swipe more dollars from the public coffers of the Beehive State to fund their aspirations and build new facilities they can hang curtains from.

On the football side, they were able to get out of their old wooden 32,000 seat football stadium in the late 90's on a wave of Olympic enthusiasm. No doubt the University of Utah will try and leverage the forthcoming 2034 Olympics as well.
