It’s not just women’s college sports that are subsidized by men’s bball and

football. Take a look at college baseball, in 2026 the NCAA is increasing full ride scholarships in baseball from 11.7 to 34. There are very few colleges that will be able to fully fund the baseball program going forward and will have to subsidize it just like they do many of the other sports for both men and women
