It helps practice several things at once while also being enjoyable - vocab exposure, pronunciation, word/grammar format, etc.

Songs repeat, so you quickly pick up on certain words and the natural context they’re used in.

Spotify and other similar apps (probably Apple Music too) let you turn the lyrics on as well so you can review the lyrics to build comprehension and reading skills.

I’ve dabbled with this with Tagalog, Indonesian, and Arabic.
