A group of 4 of us are going to the game. After we made plans and bought tickets, another family member wanted to join us, so I bought another ticket. Now that person has flaked out and isn't going to go.
The extra ticket I bought was the cheapest ticket I could find on Stubhub. I figured there would likely be an empty seat somewhere close to us, so I didn't worry about where it was. That's the ticket I'm looking to sell. I paid $279 for the ticket plus $101 in Stubhub fees. If I re-sell through Stubhub, they're going to charge the buyer for the ticket, and collect another $100 in fees. I'll only ever recoup the $280, and I'm going to lose the $100 in fees.
If someone wants to buy the ticket, I can direct transfer the ticket to you (tickets are transferred through ticketmaster) with no fees. $280 would be the out the door price, which is cheaper than you can buy a ticket (any ticket) anywhere else.
The cheapest ticket on Seat Geek right now is $348 (this includes the Seat Geek fees)
The cheapest ticket on Stubhub right now (including fees) is $330
The cheapest ticket on Ticketmaster right now is $536
Section 105, Row 7.
Right now it's listed on stubhub. If you want it, send me a BM, and I'll pull the listing off that site. You can pay via Venmo, and I will e-transfer the ticket to you. I don't make any more (or less) re-selling it this way, but the buyer (you) will save some cash by avoiding the ticket reseller fees.
