If it was, I don't know why they would keep sending generational
talents to San Antonio.
Also, there was like, a four-year span in the 2010's where the Lakers were in the top 3 in terms of best lottery odds and kept coming up just short of the first pick. Seems like if there was ever a spot where the league would "fix" the lottery, it would be to get the #1 pick to LA - not to "save basketball" in New Orleans or throw Cleveland a bone for losing LeBron James.

Not anymore. And this is coming from a guy who's team has never benefitted in the least from the lottery.
