That is a very useful tool to look at BYU's trajectory:
* Since November 2024, their performance puts them at #12 in the country;
* Since January 29, their performance puts them at #10 in the country;
* Since February 10, their performance puts them at #4 in the country - behind only Duke, Houston and Florida - three number 1 seeds, and at #2 in offensive performance. That's crazy. Ahead of Auburn, Gonzaga, Alabama, Michigan State, Texas Tech, Iowa State, Kentucky, etc. - but at that level, they're all playing elite basketball.
* However, if you go forward to March 3, we drop quite a bit down to #18, while Alabama is at #8 - and Duke, Florida and Houston consistently stay in those top 3 spots.
So, BYU's consistency is a bit more volatile, more on the defensive end, as their offense remains strong, and so they're not as consistent as those #1 seeded teams. But, it's basketball - just takes one night.
