We are living in the afterglow of BYU collectives spending BIG money that we have never seen before. Does that money keep flowing to the point of upgrading the roster further or is there a plateau that we hit? Based on speculation floating around, the 2025-2026 roster might cost:
5-7 million for AJ
800K-1.5 million for the Tot King
1.5-3 million for Demin to return (likely gone)
400K for Hall
300K for Keita
200K for Baker
200-300K for Bosko
500K- 1.5 million for Catchings to return (iffy)
200K each for Crawford/Kozlowski/Staton/a transfer
500K-1 million for high profile transfer
100K for Mboup
50K for 2-3 bench guys (Tripple/MacGregor/Tripplet types)
Those numbers may be completely off, but a conservative guess would be a roster costing around 11 million with the potential for it to cost around 15 million. At what point does the cash stop flowing and our roster loses depth or doesn't continue to upgrade with transfer talent? It appears that there is some significant backing behind all this because I haven't heard the coaches even mention NIL concerns they way I am hearing other head coaches across the country pleading for donors in every press conference and interview.
