in a lower level D1 conference that is an accolade worthy of consideration. He's 6'10 and yes can mix it up down low and has good foot speed to defend on the perimeter. Would his skill set translate to success in the Big 12? Don't know, but there are many lower level D1 players who transfer up every year and adapt well to the higher level of play.

Some on here seem to think we have our pick of every guy in the portal. My point with Welling is he is proven, accomplished D1 player who won't demand the level of NIL money guys like Jackson will.
