Of course in BYU media circles and on locked on Big12, the reffing has been highlighted and discussed, but was it a national talking point in any of the post game reviews?

I ask because I wonder whether the narrative of that game will influence refs in the next game. Either they come in telling themselves "that won't be me" and actively try to avoid replicating that game (and maybe call in our favor to start; or they come in telling themselves "I won't be influenced by that game" and they overcorrect by proving to themselves that they weren't influenced.

I just know the refs on Thursday don't exist in a vacuum and are prepping for the game. I wonder how a BYU "reputation" may affect their unconscious biases in either direction.
