How do you measure that? Obviously most teams in the tournament doesn’t mean anything to people around here. So is it most first round wins? Most teams in the sweet 16? Elite 8? Whoever wins the championship gets to claim their conference as the one who reins supreme?
I mean genuinely, I’m curious. Big 10 had an undefeated record going into the late game yesterday. And Big 12 is close behind as far as record. But at the end of the day, barring upsets, the SEC will have 6 sweet 16 teams, Big 10 with 5, Big 12 with 4, and Duke.
So if the SEC has 6 (or 7) in the Sweet 16, they still suck? Or at what point would you admit they are the best?
