amongst ourselves, but BYU still got enough national attention billed as a dark horse team preseason.

Then we were picked 9th in the Big 12, and by mid January it looked obvious this team wouldn’t come close to living up to expectations. We weren’t even among the first 8 mentioned as out of the tourney by Lundardi.

Fast forward to today. BYU is now viewed as the face of a new age in college basketball. We tied for 3rd in the Big 12, and just made the Sweet 16.

I can’t believe what we’re seeing with this team and Kevin Young. We hit those lofty preseason expectations set by BYU fans and are poised to smash through them (if we haven’t already). We have the #1 recruit coming in, and we can return a ton of key guys from this 3rd place Big 12 and Sweet 16 team. Including a 1st team All Big 12 guy.

Next years hype is going to be tremendous. Preseason top 10 type stuff if Saunders/Hall/Keita return. Amazing

If Kevin Young sticks around 15-20 years, he’ll go down as one of the legends of the game
