It’s the “slow-mo fallacy” at play here.
trying to do psychoanalysis of player intentions that happen in a fraction of second but shown slowmo then your brain goes “well they had 5 seconds to think about.” No they didn’t.

Refs should be making judgments based on real time footage not slow mo unless it deals with inbounds. It’s just what we do when we see something slow mo and assume a person had time to sit down and ponder about what they did.
