season 3 to find their footing and that they shifted so far from the books in the first two seasons that it's difficult to get back on track. I understand Covid played a big factor in that. I can forgive that.
The little woke changes make me roll my eyes, but they haven't ruined the season. One in particular was very subtle but it made me laugh. I'll put it in a spoiler block below. My only real concern is that the season simply isn't long enough to cover the material. It's halfway over and it's barely scratched the surface of what many consider to be the best book of the series

Rand has the visions of his direct ancestors. In the second earliest one, it shows his ancestor drive off on a wagon with his male lover. I laughed because how are we to believe that man had children? He lived in the post apocalypse. It's not like surrogacy through in vitro fertilization was readily available
