Their golden age was the early 80s, under Ralph Miller. There was a stretch of
a few years where only DePaul won more games than they did. They went 77-11 over 3 seasons from 1980-83, and were ranked #1 or #2 in the polls quite a bit. Those years coincided with a BYU “golden era” during the Ainge/Roberts/Durrant years, so I followed college hoops pretty closely back then.
