themselves in the foot!

Over the last 10 games, we are 5-5. Of the 5 losses, 3 of them are by a single run..

Yesterday's second game was particularly painful.
2 outs in the 6th inning. Pop up to third base, but Easton Jones drops it, inning continues. Next batter hits a ground ball to third, instead of throwing across to first, Jones attempts to tag the runner. Since it wasn't a force out, the runner from third gets across and counts for Cincinnati. Then, later in the 8th inning, hard hit ball up the middle, Jones attempts to score from second, and gets tagged out at home with ease.

Tough tough game for our Cougars and for Jones in particular. Hoping we can get it right today and win the series against a mid-to-poor Cincinnati team.
