Split the season into 3 parts. First five games OOC to get the teams flowing and adjusted to the season.

Then conference season begins.
Finish it off with the second half of the OOC before conference championship week.


My thoughts are that way too much weight is being placed on early wins/losses vs what have you done for me lately.

To clear the cobwebs it would imo provide more value if and of season games were key OOC matchups where steering teams price they are strong and bubble teams prove they are either worthy or not worthy of a post season bid
