Crowl is more of a mix it up inside guy than I’d been led to believe. That doesn’t seem to be a big part of their offense but that looks like it will be little bit of a problem for us. He’s more skilled and thicker than Lovering.
Winter is a slightly more athletic Waterman. I don’t worry about him inside.
I hope we get the B10 championship game Wisconsin. Both teams looked completely gassed. 4 games in 4 days then 2 games in 3 days at altitude a week later? Should have some degree of advantage for us.
Always the caveat that someone will go unconscious against us but if not I think our defensive strengths match up well with their offensive strengths.
An X factor could be how Fous is able to score against Crowl. 7 footers give him trouble and Crowl is thick enough he won’t be pushed around.
Tonje didn’t scare me against Montana or Michigan but he did look good against Maryland a month ago.
Obviously if we go off then game over. If we both play our games I’m afraid I give a little edge to them because of Crowl. If we can get the AZ and ISU Cougars then it will be a great game.
I predicted a double digit win over VCU for context.
