VCU shot out of their minds from 3. The one off-balance made 3 from Shulga was a 5% shot. Pure luck. Mag's vision on offense was not good. As he drove a couple of times to the basket, Richie was standing near the 3 point line wide open begging for the ball with two feet solidly planted. Richie was 1-6 from three, but some of those misses were higher degrees of difficulty. The degree of difficulty of VCU's made shots was greater than BYU's.
I believe Dallin Hall was an unsung hero. He had 4 assists and 0 turnovers. Demin had 2 assists and 4 turnovers. Demin's problem with turnovers was definitely offset by his solid offensive performance. But if he could just have an even Assist to Turnover ratio, we would be a better team.
I believe we could have easily beaten VCU by more than 20. If we play just a little bit better against Wisconsin than we did today, I think we can have a solid win.
