Went and saw Unbreakable Boy tonight. It was almost like watching my own life
I have two autistic sons, one of whom is very similar to the boy in the movie. That movie is spot on. I could understand every feeling and emotion that father had.

Except instead of turning to alcohol to cope and get away, I turn to BYU sports. Probably just as emotionally tumultuous!

I highly recommend the movie. I mean, I think every dad can somewhat relate to that guy, whether or not their children have special needs.

Beautiful movie with a beautiful message. Had some very funny and relatable moments. It’s relatively uncommon for me to walk out of a movie theater feeling uplifted.
