up again in the portal a few years later having already proven themselves as D1 rotation players. That's when they become underrated. No matter who you bring up of the local guys....there's always....ugh....we can do better vibe on here.

But it doesn't really matter. I'm just saying its weird from a fans perspective. It's not weird if KY and Co feel like they have better guys out there because they definitely might. But Whalin, Toolson, Faslev, Welling types are absolutely BYU quality players. Doesn't mean I would take all 4 if they were all in the portal, or even any, but for sure should be in the consideration mix.
