Actually tickets are sold by sessions...1,2,3 (2 games each session) or by an all sessions ticket. I was there that
year as well. I don't remember the Wofford game ever really being in doubt, even though it was an 8 point game in the end. It for sure didn't have the juice of the Gonzaga game two days later. The first session that Thursday in Denver was electric as Moorehead State as a 13 seed upset Rick Pitino's Louisville team 62-61 and 12 seed Richmond upset Vanderbilt 69-66. I am on a 26 year streak (minus COVID year) of chasing Thursday/Saturday games the first week of the tournament. We usually stay out West, but as I'm retiring at the end of May, and this might be our last year of doing this, we decided to go on an adventure this time and we will be in Lexington, Kentucky this weekend. I sure picked a poor year to venture outside the West as both BYU and Michigan are in Denver. I agree with your sentiment, if anyone is having doubts, just figure out a way to go. You won't regret it. Go Cougs!
