Speaking of support plastics that don't stick together. . . Zoobie's hack.
I use PETG as my support material for PLA, and PLA to support everything else I use.

For purging filament amount, I set the color of the support material to Black now in the AMS, this will cause much more purge to clean out your support material. as small residue of support material can weaken the connection in your print.


My experience:
I was printing BYU Helmet ornaments 4 at a time, I noticed that the back left Helmet kept breaking apart, and the next item printed was also weak. I assumed it was an overpowered Aux fan, but covering the fan that didn't fix it. . . Then I changed the support color from Blue (The actual color of my support material) to Black, I would purge more poop. . . But my prints came out right.
