We all know the stats. We all know that the only time we’ve cracked Sweet 16 in the last 45 years is when we had our two best players ever, Ainge and Jimmer.

It shouldn’t take that. We need to simply get the monkey of our back and just start winning, especially now that we will consistently get the higher seed. I thought Pope would deliver for us, but he didn’t.

KY will get us there. I really believe that KY will have a winning record in postseason play (both B12 and March Madness) over time. I don’t know if we crack Sweet 16 this year, but we HAVE to get a round one win and start changing the narrative.
