No large, older airport is going to be as easy to navigate as that. Even the old Quito airport located within the city limits was more like a large bus terminal than anything. I do agree they did a great job on that airport, though. Guayaquil is also pretty good.

I flew out of Quito during the pandemic, the day before they closed down the country, and paid for the several hours in the lounge. It was only something like 20 dollars, and well worth it.
