Actually, I think the average is more like 6-7% historically, but 9-10%

is on the lighter end of what has fallen this season. It seems like the snow has been a lot wetter this year than seasons past.

26" out of this storm at Alta so far. It's got to be fairly heavy water-dense snow, too.

Looks like 9.57% water content - kind of on the lighter end

Interesting. It definitely started out heavy. I live near PC and the front end of the storm was really wet/heavy flakes.
