Fan expectations shouldn’t even enter the discussion when it comes to success. Football was right there for a playoff spot and blew it. Who cares where they were expected to finish. They were good enough to be there. Same with bball. The team was picked ninth by a bunch of media nitwits who were obviously wrong about them. The team was never the ninth best.

Sorry these comments hit a nerve when people say they achieved something because they were better than prognostications made by idiots
