I have been twice and will be going again on a cruise in june. One of my thoughts from my first visit back in 92 when I was playing with my rock band for uso shows in the Mediterranean was that from the acropolis, Athens was such a huge City below. But we saw very little of it in comparison. I did see the major sites, the Acropolis, Zeus's temple, the Olympic stadium, the museum and other things. But it would have been nice to have another day or so to see what else was in the city. I don't know really what there is. I also remember a lot of stray dogs at the acropolis.

But yes the islands are really cool.
