My opinion as a dentist…most night guards are diagnosed improperly. Dentists
Are trained to see worn teeth and assume it is from night time grinding.

That is far from the reality. Most wear comes from daytime function, having teeth that are in the incorrect position, or having a chewing pattern that is dysfunctional.

Very little of it comes from night time muscle activity.
